How can I track which opportunities resulted from campaigns?
One key benefit of campaigns is the ability to track how much business a campaign generated. The Opportunities related list on a campaign shows every opportunity that’s linked to that campaign. You can also run the Campaign Revenue report to track which opportunities are linked to your campaigns.
Set the Primary Campaign Source for an opportunity in these scenarios.
- When you create an opportunity, complete the Primary Campaign Source field to indicate that the opportunity resulted from a specific campaign.
- When you create an opportunity from the Opportunities related list on a contact, Salesforce automatically populates the Primary Campaign Source field with the contact’s most recent associated campaign.
- When you convert a lead that’s linked to a campaign, Salesforce automatically populates the Primary Campaign Source field with the contact's most recent associated campaign.
- If you use Campaign Influence, you can set the Primary Campaign Source settings and automation.
