          Who Can Adjust Pipeline Forecasts

          Forecast adjustments at the rollup level provide an assessment about the tpta; sales that the forecast owner feels confident to close during the forecast period. Your system settings and your place in the forecast hierarchy determines if you can view and make adjustments.

          Required Editions

          Adjustments available in: both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience in Professional, Performance, and Developer Editions and in Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Sales
           

          Role-Based Forecasts

          Review who can view your forecast and adjust your forecast total. The details in this table apply to role-based forecasts only.

          User Can they view your forecasts? Can they adjust your role-based forecasts?
          Your manager’s manager Yes No
          Your manager Yes Yes. Managers adjust forecasts from their own forecasts pages.
          You Yes Yes, if enabled by your admin. You can adjust forecast totals only, not the subtotal for My Opportunities.
          Your subordinate in the role-based hierarchy No No

          • The territory has no forecast manager assigned.
          • You’re assigned to the territory.

          Only if:

          • The territory has no forecast manager assigned.
          • You’re assigned to the territory.
          • Owner adjustments are enabled.
