          Create a Sales Plan

          Align sales goals with organizational growth with Legacy Sales Planning. Identify what’s planned and who’s contributing to the planning process.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
          Available for an additional cost in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Sales Planning in English only, and only if you have Web Services API enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create sales plans:

          Data Pipelines Base User permission set license

          Data Pipelines Base User permission set

          AND

          Sales Planning permission set

          Feature is scheduled for retirement as of Summer'26. See Sales Planning version 1 Retirement

          1. Click Create Plan.
          2. Name your plan and add a description. Select the fiscal year the plan applies to. Fiscal period options are based on your fiscal year settings in Salesforce.

          3. Click Create. Then, continue building your plan.
