Assign Licenses and Permissions for Legacy Sales Planning
Give teammates the authority to administer sales plans, manage sales plans, design
territories, and edit or view specific areas so that they can participate in the end-to-end
sales planning process.
Required Editions
Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
Available for an additional cost in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Sales Planning in English only, and only if you have Web Services API enabled
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select
Users. Next, select a user that you want to grant access to Sales
Planning.
In the Permission Set License Assignments section, click Edit
Assignments.
Select permission set licenses that align with your teammate’s goal.

Administer and control sales plans.
Salesforce Maps Territory Planning
Design territory plans.
In the Permission Set Assignments section, click Edit
Assignments.
Select permission sets that correspond with your selected permission set licenses. And
select any permission sets for the disciplines that align with your teammate’s
responsibilities, such as designing territories and developing plans for quota
attainment.
