          Turn On Sales Methodology

          To get your sales reps started tracking deals’ progress by using a sales methodology, enable and activate a methodology.

          Required Editions

          View supported editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To turn on Pipeline Inspection:

          Customize Application

          OR

          Modify All Data

          1. From the gear icon, select Salesforce Go, and then search for Sales Methodology on the Salesforce Go Home page.
          2. Turn on Sales Methodology.

            Wait for a few seconds to get Pipeline Inspection turned on if it isn't enabled.

          3. In the Activate a Sales Methodology section, click Manage.
          4. In the Select Methodology window, select a sales methodology. You can activate only one methodology at a time, so choose the one that fits your business needs. You can customize a pre-built methodology template, or create your own.
          5. Click Review and then Save.
