            Considerations for Cloning Products

            If you’re an admin or a sales operations manager, you can clone a product to quickly create another product with the same information and price book entries. Consider key points before you clone a product.

            Required Editions

            Available in: both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions

            When you clone a product:

            • Price book entries in price books that you don’t have sharing access to aren’t created.
            • If you have read-only access to a field, the value of that field isn’t carried over to the cloned record.
