Salesforce Spiff Release Notes for September 9, 2024

Salesforce Spiff Release Notes for September 9, 2024

Reinforce your Salesforce Spiff implementation with more resources for compliance, transparency, and efficiency.

          Required Editions

Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
Available for an additional cost in: Professional Edition with Web Services API Enabled

Show the Right Information in a Statement More Easily

Find the appropriate variable to show in a metric card in a rep statement more quickly. When you configure the variable to show in a metric card, the dropdown menu now shows both the variable name and the field display name.

          Monitor Obligations with Clarity

Gain more oversight of your obligations and whether you need to take any action. The Obligations table now shows which obligations are locked, which obligations you can overwrite, and which obligations are already overwritten.

Prevent Data Loss in Frozen Statements

Avoid disruptions to your Spiff data and protect the records associated with frozen commission statements. You can no longer delete records related to frozen statements, which ensures that the records remain available for other purposes. To delete these records, unfreeze the statements.

          Demonstrate Compliance for Financial Audits

Make sure that your company complies with the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act by demonstrating that your financial statements are protected against tampering and that you have documented proof for potential audits. The System Activity Log in Spiff includes new audit events for SOX compliance, including events for creating, updating, and deleting custom fields in company settings or in individual records.

Enjoy Improved Performance in the Objects Table

Manage Spiff data in the objects table with fewer headaches. The table loads records more quickly, you can manage pagination options for up to 10,000 records, and you can copy error messages for simpler troubleshooting.

          Work with Calculations More Efficiently

The calculate window is now dynamic for easier reading, and you filter on multiple filters.
