Keep your company's commission statements and calculations up to date more efficiently. Spiff now creates and deletes statements in more scenarios, and performs a nightly check in the background to clean up available statements. Previously, Spiff created or deleted statements only in limited scenarios, or sometimes didn’t create statements at all, resulting in outdated commission statements.
Why: Previously, Spiff created a statement only when you added or updated a plan assignment, with effective dates specified, in the Spiff user interface or through the API.
Similarly, Spiff deleted unfrozen statements only in these scenarios.
How: Now, Spiff creates or deletes statements based on plan assignment changes made manually in the Spiff user interface, from a data import, or through the API. A nightly background job runs at approximately 11:00 PM Mountain Time (GMT-7) and creates or deletes statements.
