          Create the Sales Insights App

          Create the Sales Insights App

Step 6 for setting up Sales Insights is to create the Sales Insights app. Follow on-screen instructions that allow you to specify the data to use and the data space where to install your app.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available with Sales with the Agentforce for Sales Add-On license in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions and Agentforce 1 Edition in: Performance and Unlimited Editions.
          Permission Sets Needed
To set up Sales Insights: Sales Insights Admin
To manage Sales Insights: Tableau Included App Manager and Data Cloud Architect
To use Sales Insights: Tableau Next Limited Consumer and Data Cloud User
          1. On the Sales Insights setup page, at step 6, click Start.
Sales Insights checks whether your org includes the data and settings to transform the data model objects and create the semantic data models and dashboards. If you receive an error message, follow the instructions and then restart the installation process.
          2. In the wizard, when the Org Readiness Validation finishes and the Next button becomes ready, click Next.
          3. If you have enabled Forecasting and deployed the Forecasting and Unmanaged Data Kits, you now have the option to select Sales Insights with or without Forecasting. If you haven’t enabled Forecasting, this option won’t appear.

Select Yes to enable the Sales Insights app to use the Forecasting data.

Select No to base the Sales Insights app on the Opportunity data.

          4. Click Next.
          5. Select the data space for your Sales Insights app. The data space should be where you installed the C360 Semantic Model. The choice of data spaces allows you to organize your data for your business needs and to align with your organization's data governance and access requirements.
          6. Click Next.
          7. Enter a name for your app, and optionally, you can enter a description. Select the log level. Click OK.
          8. Return to the Sales Insights Setup page to continue setting up Sales Insights.
