Optional procedures, tips, and more information to optimize your Sales Insights experience.
Open Sales Insights
To open Sales Insights, in the Salesforce App Launcher, enter Sales Insights, and select Sales Insights.
Make the Sales Insights Page Available to Users
Sales Insights includes a pre-built Lightning page with navigation to the dashboards. You can activate this page for your users, or create a custom Lightning page by using the Lightning App Builder.
- To activate the Sales Insights Lightning page for users, follow these steps.
- From Setup, enter Profiles in the Quick Find box, then select Profiles.
- Select the profile for the users who need access to Sales Insights dashboards.
- In the profile settings, locate the Sales Insights Lightning page in the object settings.
- Enable access to the page for the profile.
- To customize the layout or embed Sales Insights dashboards in a different way, create a
custom page by using the Lightning App Builder.
- From Setup, enter Lightning App Builder in the Quick Find box, then select Lightning App Builder.
- Create a new Lightning page, or edit an existing page.
- Click the Tableau Next Dashboard component, and add Sales Insights dashboards to your page.
- Activate the page and assign it to the appropriate profiles or users.

Make Sales Insights Easy to Reach
To make it easy to view your insights, add the Sales Insights app to your navigation bar, or create a shortcut by using favorites. For more information, see Personalize Your Navigation.
View Resources
After successful installation, the app resources associated with your Sales Insights app are listed under Resources on the Setup page for your app. To view the assets, go to Setup > Sales Insights, click the tab that has the name of your app, and then click the Resources tab. The resources include analytics assets, such as dashboards, workspaces, metrics, and visualizations; data assets, such as semantic models, data model objects, data lake objects, and data streams; and transformations, such as data transforms.
