          Sales Insights Sales Stage Progression

          Sales Stage Progression shows how deals move through stages of the sales process and if deals are moving smoothly. It also reveals bottlenecks and exposes at-risk opportunities.

          The Sales Stage Progression dashboard compares how long current opportunities take in each stage of your pipeline with data on historic deals. The Opportunity Days in Each Stage chart shows the average number of days deals spend in that stage. By comparing current with historical data, the dashboard determines which deals are at risk and displays them in neglected, stalled, and pushed opportunities charts at the bottom of the dashboard.

          From the top of the dashboard, select from the filters to get the details you want to see.

          • Account Name: Account names related to opportunities in the dashboard.
          • Opportunity Stage: Names in the standard StageName field in the Opportunities object.
          • Team Member: Names of opportunity owners. It can include inactive users or users who don’t own any deals in the selected period.
          • State/Province: State or Province associated to the opportunity.
          • Country: Country associated to the opportunity.
          • Industry: Filter the dashboard based on industry areas.
          • Time Period: Filter by standard or custom time periods.
          Chart Chart Type Description
          Opportunity Days in Each Stage Vertical bar Compare Close Dates across Opportunity Count, Win Rate, and Average Closed Won.
          Stage Movement Horizontal bar Previous stage by number of opportunities.
          What Should I Focus On? Stacked bar Stages by sum of total amount.
          Top 5 Neglected Opportunities Horizontal bar Top 5 by Sum of Total Amount. Click Review Neglected Opportunties to filter the table below for Neglected Opportunities, with Days Since Last Activity.
          Top 5 Pushed Opportunities Horizontal bar Top 5 by Sum of Total Amount. Click Review Pushed Opportunties to filter the table below for Pushed Opportunities, with number of times pushed.
          Top 5 Stalled Opportunities Horizontal bar Top 5 by Sum of Total Amount. Click Review Stalled Opportunties to filter the table below for Stalled Opportunities, with number of Days in Stage.
          All Opportunities Table Detailed list of opportunities with their stages, close dates, and amounts.
