Steps 7 and 8 for setting up Sales Insights are to confirm that the correct permission
sets are assigned to your Sales Insights users. To view Sales Insights dashboards, every user
needs both the Tableau Next Limited Consumer permission set and the Data Cloud User permission
set.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available with Sales with Agentforce 1 Edition or Agentforce for Sales Add-On
license in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions.
Permission Sets Needed
To set up Sales Insights:
Sales Insights Admin
To manage Sales Insights:
Tableau Included App Manager and Data Cloud Architect
To use Sales Insights:
Tableau Next Limited Consumer and Data Cloud User
This procedure covers steps 7 and 8 on the Sales Insights Setup page.
On the Sales Insights Setup page, at step 7 about the Tableau Next Limited Consumer
permission set, click Assign.
On the Tableau Next Limited Consumer Permission Set page, click Manage
Assignments.
Click Add Assignments.
Select your users, and click Assign.
Return to the Sales Insights Setup page.
On the Sales Insights Setup page, at step 8 about the Data Cloud User permission set, click
Assign.
On the Data Cloud User Permission Set page, click Manage
Assignments.
Click Add Assignments.
Select your users, and click Assign.
Congratulations, you’ve completed setting up Sales Insights!
