          Add Country Codes to Alignments

          Plan territories with more accuracy when you add country code attributes to your units in Territory Planning.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Web Services API enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To add country codes to alignments:

          Sales Planning Admin permission set

          AND

          One of these:

          • Data Pipelines Base User permission set
          • CRM Analytics Plus Admin permission set
          • CRM Analytics Growth Admin permission set
          1. Select a territory plan alignment.
          2. Open Setup.
          3. On the Attributes tab, click Add from Segment.
          4. Select the checkbox next to the new country code attribute.
          5. Click Save.
          6. On the Geographic Fields tab, remove the mapped field from Country.
          7. Select the country code you created.
          8. Click Save.
          9. Adjust the legend to show the units from your data source.
            A new column titled Container appears.

          Values in the Container column represent the unit’s assigned postal code boundary. If units don’t include an assigned boundary, confirm their postal codes or country values. Use the legend to identify the issue so it can be resolved.
