          Create Datasets for Sales Planning

          Plan sales strategies with Salesforce data that you add to datasets for Sales Planning.

          Required Editions

          Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience
          Available for an additional cost in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Sales Planning in English only, and only if you have Web Services API enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create datasets for Sales Planning:

          Sales Planning Admin permission set

          AND

          One of these:

          • Data Pipelines Base User permission set
          • CRM Analytics Plus Admin permission set
          • CRM Analytics Growth Admin permission set
          1. From the App Launcher, open Data Manager.
          2. Select Connections.
          3. From the SFDC_LOCAL connection, select Edit Objects. Then search for and select the object you want to include in your dataset, such as Account.

          4. Edit the object by clicking the pencil icon. Select the columns you want to include for your sales planning efforts. For example, select columns that include record IDs, addresses, and annual revenue.

          5. Save your work.
          6. From the SFDC_LOCAL connection, select Run Now.
            Data Pipelines syncs your data.
