Accumulator Errors in Salesforce Spiff Data Filters
Accumulation starts with the data filter that a payout rule is based on and the data filter that the accumulator is using. When the accumulated value is referenced in the rule, Salesforce Spiff looks up the record’s accumulated value. An accumulator error occurs when the rule has a record that isn’t in the accumulated filter.

These types of errors typically occur when a rule filter and accelerator filter aren't differentiated enough.
For example, maybe a rule and accumulator are both returning deals and renewals. But because renewals don't count toward quota relief, you want to exclude renewals from the accumulator. To resolve this error, update the accumulator filter to check the deal type and return $0 for renewals so that renewals no longer contribute to the accumulated value.
In another example, maybe a rule uses an InPeriod deals filter and an accumulator uses an InYear deals filter. Both the rule and accumulator return the same set of deals. Differentiate one of the rules. Maybe the rule has an OR statement to include a unique deal in the period, or the accumulator has an extra filter to exclude a specific deal in the period.
To help troubleshoot and identify which filter to update, try recreating data filters in the library and evaluate whether your test filters are accumulating too many records or accumulating an incorrect value.
If you want to avoid recreating complex filters, test in the Filters tab. Create a copy of a filter and add a filter for a record of set of records you want to test. Remove the original filters, one at a time, until you see records appear in the results, so that you can determine which filter was applied.
