Just like you can set effective dates for a rep on a plan or team, you can set effective dates for a payout rule on a plan. Effective dates determine when a payout rule appears and calculates commission on rep statements.

When there's an Effective As Of date set for a rule, the rule doesn’t show up on a statement until that date. When there’s an Effective Until date set for a rule, the rule no longer shows up on a statement after that date. We recommend that you set effective dates at the beginning or end of statement periods.
In Designer, under Plans, click the plan where you want to add effective dates.
The rules assigned to the plan appear in the Payout Rule Name column.
Enter the Effective As Of and Effective Until dates.
The rules that use effective dates appear on statements when the corresponding month is selected.
