Standard Reports in Salesforce Spiff
Help users in Salesforce Spiff visually compare commission metrics of their reps. Export, share, or save visual reports.
Required Editions
| Available in: both Salesforce Classic (not available in all orgs) and Lightning Experience |
| Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions |
| Available for an additional cost in: Professional Edition with Web Services API Enabled |
Required Roles
Users with the default Company Admin role can access standard reports and can see data for the entire company.
Users with the default Finance, Manager, or Editing Manager role can access the standard reports, but can see data for only users who are on the manager’s team. For example, if a manager supervises Team B but creates a visual report for Teams A, B, and C, the manager can see data for only Team B. If the report is shared with another manager with rights to Teams A and C only, then that manager can see data for Teams A and C only.
If you create a custom role, turn on the Standard Reports: View permission to view the standard reports. See Create a Custom Role in Salesforce Spiff.
Standard Visual Reports
Spiff provides these standard reports by default.
| Report | Description |
|---|---|
| Total by Rep | Bar graph that compares the total commission earned by each rep in a specific time period. |
| Commission Leaderboard | Bar graph that sorts the total commission earned by each rep, from highest to lowest. |
| By Rep Over Time | Line graph that shows commission trends during a specific time period. |
| Rep Average by Plan | Bar graph that shows the average commission earned across reps for each plan. |
| Rep Average by Plan Over Time | Line graph that tracks how the average commission by plan trended over a specific time period. |
For line graphs, hide results for a rep by clicking the colored dot next to the rep's name on the key.
For any standard visual report, define the time period and filter by Plans and Teams. These filters apply only to the current view and revert to a rolling three-month window for all plans after you navigate away from the report.
