          Considerations for Ghost Rules

          Considerations for Ghost Rules

Ghost rules are payout rules where the output doesn’t contribute to a rep's total commission amount for a statement period. Ghost rules are helpful in situations where you want to start building or testing rules for the next quarter or year, or when you want to perform mid-year plan changes.

          • You can track the ghost rule results against your current commission plan. Ghost rules help you make crucial decisions as you finalize the plans for next year, and you can use the data or analysis and reporting.
          • If a ghost rule assigned to a plan has an error, the statement also has an error.
