Set Up Territory Assignments for Opportunity Splits and Opportunity Product Splits
Prepare your sales teams to see how territories contribute to overall sales by assigning
opportunity splits and opportunity product splits to territories.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and
Developer Editions.
User Permissions Needed
To enable Sales Territories:
Customize Application
To configure territory types, territory models, and territories:
View Setup and Configuration
AND
Manage Territories
To enable Opportunity Splits and Opportunity Product Splits:
Modify All Data
To add fields to Opportunity Splits and Opportunity Product Splits page
layouts:
Modify All Data
To set up splits to include territory assignments, complete these setup steps.
Finally, so your users can assign territories to splits, add the Split Territory field on
the Opportunity Split and Opportunity Product Split multi-line page layouts.
Note To assign territories to splits, you must have an active
territory model with territories.
