Configure Einstein Search
Grant your users access to Einstein Search. From there, you can unlock new capabilities that can simplify your search process and customize your users profiles.
- Manage Einstein Search Settings
Einstein Search is on by default for your entire Salesforce org and enhanced with features at no additional cost. - Customize Search with Search Manager
Customize the search experience for different channels and user needs. Provide relevant results and manage your configurations. - Explore the Search Index with Search Manager
See default searchable objects and fields in your Salesforce org. As you add custom objects and fields to your Salesforce org, your index changes to reflect which objects and fields are searchable. Your index is the single source of truth for what’s searchable in your org. You can manage the search index and apply field-level security to custom fields. - Customize Search Layouts
Search layouts let you determine what users see when Einstein Search returns results. For each unique user profile, you can create search layouts for standard and custom objects, ensuring the layout shows users what’s most relevant to them. Only objects with customizable layouts support profile-specific layouts. The search layout that you configure applies to global and lookup searches. - Build Your Synonym Groups
A search for one term in a synonym group returns results for all terms in the group. For example, a search for thumb drive returns results for flash drive and memory stick when these three terms are in a synonym group. - Set Up Federated Search
Do your users search for content stored outside of Salesforce? Federated search makes it easy to add external search engines (or connectors) to your org. Users look for information using Salesforce global search and see external results in a single search results page. Understand more about how federated search works, how to set it up, and how users see results.
