          Permissions

For Enablement admins, the HRServiceWorkspaceUserPSG permission set group gives access to create employee enablement programs in Employee Portal. This permission is included in the Manage Enablement Essentials default permission set. You can create up to 100 unpublished or published employee enablement programs.

Also, consider assigning the Manage Enablement Essentials permission set to site developers. Assigning this permission set ensures that site developers can access Enablement objects when they add Enablement components and pages to Employee Portal.

For employees, assign the EmployeeHubUserPSG permission set group for taking employee enablement programs in Employee Portal.

          User Experience

Employee enablement programs are delivered to employees who log in to Employee Portal, built with Experience Cloud. They find and take programs within the Employee Portal pages. Typically, these employees don’t have access to Lightning Experience. Work with a site developer to add Employee Enablement Program information to Employee Portal. Some default components and pages are available.

          Requirements for Employee Portal

In Program Builder, Employee Portal is available in the program properties when you’re creating an employee enablement program.

The Enablement components are available only in the Employee Portal templates that a site developer edits with Experience Builder.

Other permissions are required for selecting a site in Program Builder.

Your Permission or Access Sites You Can Select
Create and Set Up Experiences Inactive or active sites
Customize Application Inactive or active sites
Member of the site Active sites only

If you don’t have one of these permissions, you can’t see the site in Program Builder. If another Enablement admin with permissions added the site and you edit the program, you can’t see the site or save or publish the program.

          Exercises

An employee enablement program can include 30 exercises.

Audio Recording, Document, Scheduled Event, and Other exercises in employee enablement programs support relative URLs to other site pages. In the corresponding Link content record in the Enablement workspace in the Digital Experiences app, specify a relative URL to another site page.

Feedback Request and Trailhead exercises aren’t supported in employee enablement programs.

          Enrollment

When you assign employees to employee enablement programs, you can filter by account in addition to the profile, group, and role filters.

The assignment window lists only employees who have the Employee Enablement Program Community User permission.

Up to 10,000 employees can be assigned to or enrolled in an employee enablement program.

          Notifications

Email notifications related to employee enablement programs respect user-specific email preferences on Employee Portal.

In-app notifications related to employee enablement programs depend on the environments that employees can access.

          • Employees receive notifications in all sites that they’re members of and that support notifications, not just Employee Portal where the employee enablement program is published.
          • If employees have access to Lightning Experience, they receive notifications related to employee enablement programs in Lightning Experience.

          Analytics

Employee Enablement Program provides a dashboard and reports that are separate from the analytics for other program types.

          Note
Note In Enablement Settings, a Salesforce admin can fetch the updated default reports from the latest release by refreshing the prebuilt reports and dashboard. This overrides any customizations made to the reports and dashboard. See Refresh the Employee Enablement Program Reports and Dashboard.

          In-App Guidance in Employee Portal

Employee Enablement Program includes prompts and walkthroughs in Employee Portal where you publish programs. In Enablement Settings, you can assign the Manage In-App Guidance for Partners default permission set to users who create prompts and walkthroughs in sites. The Employee Enablement Program Community User permission set license that you assign to employees includes permission to view prompts and walkthroughs in Employee Portal.

Deleting Scheduled Jobs for Employee Enablement Program Causes Issues

Don’t delete scheduled jobs for Program Status. If you need help rescheduling jobs, contact Salesforce Customer Support.
