Templates consist of service process definition details, such as data attributes,
request form, and integration details, helping you quickly configure and deploy a service
process. Use the Request Leave and Update Profile service process templates in Service Process
Studio to rapidly create service processes. Employees can access the service processes from
Service Catalog in Employee Portal.
To create a service process by using a template and make the service process available to
employees in Employee Portal, follow these steps.
Step 1: Create a service process by using a template in Service Process Studio.
Step 2: Configure the OmniScript intake form.
Step 3: Attach the OmniScript to the service process.
Step 4: Add the service process to a catalog in Product Catalog Management.
Step 5: Set up the Process Employee Service Request flow.
Step 6: Set up the Approve Employee Service Request orchestration.
Step 7: Configure the Employee Portal Service Catalog component.
Create and Deploy a Service Process by Using a Template Use the Update Profile and Request Leave templates to create service processes that your employees can use to manage their profile information, view their leave balance, and submit a leave request. The service processes help employees maintain their profile information and manage their leaves.
