          Service Processes for Self Service

          Service processes streamline the creation, management, and fulfillment of HR service requests. Create service processes from scratch or by using templates.

          Required Editions

          You can create service processes by using Service Process Studio and Unified Catalog.

          • To list the service processes created using Service Process Studio, use the Employee Portal Service Catalog component in the Service Catalog page.
          • To list the service processes created using Unified Catalog, use the Unified Catalog component in the Service Catalog page.
          • Service Process Templates
            Templates consist of service process definition details, such as data attributes, request form, and integration details, helping you quickly configure and deploy a service process. Use the Request Leave and Update Profile service process templates in Service Process Studio to rapidly create service processes. Employees can access the service processes from Service Catalog in Employee Portal.
          • Service Processes for Employee Self Service
            Use service processes to streamline the creation, management, and fulfillment of employee service requests. Some examples of service processes that you can create for your employees are updating direct deposit details and submitting expense reports for categories, such as wellness reimbursements and IT supplies. You can make these service processes available for employees through Service Catalog in Employee Portal.
