            Create Custom Fields

            Integrate custom fields in the Asset object for accurate asset usage tracking and optimized predictive capabilities. These fields provide vital data for the AI model, leading to more precise future asset utilization predictions.

            Leverage Custom Fields for Enhanced Asset Service Prediction

            For the highest quality model performance, include fields that comprehensively illustrate how an asset is used. This rich dataset can be populated either through the Ingestion API or by creating corresponding custom fields.

            The mapping of these custom fields is a manual process within the data stream.

            • Navigate to CRM Asset Object: In the Object Manager, go to the CRM Asset object, and then go to Fields and Relationships.
            • Create Essential Fields: Create the following two critical fields:
              • TotalUsage: This field should be of the Number data type to record the cumulative usage of the asset.
              • TotalUsageUOM (Unit of Measure): This field should be of the Text data type to specify the unit of measure for TotalUsage such as hours, miles, and cycles.
            • Ensure Data Accuracy and Mapping: To guarantee the accuracy of your data, include all existing relevant fields in your data source. Subsequently, map these fields to their corresponding usage fields within the Data Model Object (DMO). This comprehensive mapping ensures that all pertinent data contributes to the AI model's training and predictive accuracy.

            Following the One-click action, a manual refresh of the data stream is necessary to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the mapped data.

            Standardize Units of Measure for Usage Fields

            Consistency in the unit of measure for all usage fields is crucial. Discrepancies in predictions can arise if different units are used. It’s essential to convert all units to a single, unified measure to ensure data uniformity.
