            Launch Customized Scheduling Flows in Workforce Scheduling

            Clone a standard scheduling flow, customize it in Flow Builder, and make it available to users. You can override the standard flow so that the existing action button launches your customized version, or create a quick action to launch the flow from any supported object's record page.

            Override a Standard Flow with a Cloned Flow

            Activate a cloned scheduling flow to replace the standard flow that launches when users click New on the Interaction list view. Because Workforce Scheduling flows are overridden by default, activating a cloned flow automatically replaces the standard version.

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
            2. Open the standard scheduling flow you want to customize (for example, Schedule Appointment).
            3. Click Save As New Flow to create an editable copy.
            4. Enter a label and description for the cloned flow, and then click Save.
            5. Customize the flow with additional variables, fields, and screen elements as needed.
            6. Click Save, and then click Activate.

            After activation, the New action on the Interaction list view launches the cloned flow instead of the standard version.

            Launch a Cloned Flow from a Quick Action

            Create a quick action to launch a customized scheduling flow from any supported object's record page, such as Account. This approach lets you offer the customized flow alongside other actions without overriding the default scheduling behavior.

            1. Clone and customize the standard scheduling flow.
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Flows, and then select Flows.
              2. Open the scheduling flow you want to customize (for example, Schedule Appointment).
              3. Click Save As New Flow to create an editable copy.
              4. Enter a label and description for the cloned flow, and then click Save.
              5. Customize the flow with additional variables, fields, and screen elements as needed.
              6. Click Save, and then click Activate.
            2. Create a quick action that launches your cloned scheduling flow from an object's record page.
              1. From Setup, select Object Manager, and then select the object where you want the action to appear (for example, Account).
              2. Select Buttons, Links, and Actions, and then click New Action.
              3. For Action Type, select Flow.
              4. For Flow, select the cloned flow you created.
              5. For Label, enter a descriptive name. For example, Customized Schedule Interaction.
              6. Save your changes.
            3. Add the quick action to the object's page layout so users can launch the customized scheduling flow from the record page.
              1. In Object Manager, select the object, and then select Page Layouts.
              2. Open the page layout you want to update.
              3. Drag the quick action into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
              4. Click Save.

            Navigate to a record of that object to verify that the new quick action appears and launches the customized scheduling flow.
