Define a Change Advisory Board and Add Meetings

Streamline change approvals by defining CABs and scheduling review meetings.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Agentic IT Service Desk.
          2. In the Quick Find box, find and select Change Advisory Board Definitions.
          3. Click New.
          4. Enter the required details.
          5. Select the Change Advisory Board Manager.
The CAB manager can be a user or a group, depending on how your organization managers change approvals.
          6. Select Active to allow assigning change requests.
If you leave the checkbox cleared (inactive), you can’t assign change requests, but you can still plan and schedule meetings.
          7. Save your changes.
          8. Open the CAB definition.
          9. Click Related.
          10. In Associated Meetings, click New.
          11. Enter meeting details, such as start and end dates.
          12. Save your changes.
The system creates the CAB meeting and associates it with the selected CAB definition. When you create a CAB meeting, the system also creates a corresponding event on the IT Service Calendar. Teams can use the calendar to view scheduled CAB meetings alongside other service events and filter meetings based on configured event types.
