          Billing Considerations for CMDB Enterprise

Salesforce meters active enterprise configuration items using a rolling activity window and reflects peak usage in Digital Wallet.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service that have CMDB and Service Graph enabled.

Salesforce calculates enterprise CI usage using the MAX aggregation method. MAX aggregation reflects the highest number of active enterprise configuration items recorded in a month. For more information on MAX aggregation method, see Data Aggregation Types and Calculations in Digital Wallet.

Digital Wallet displays enterprise CI consumption under the CMDB Enterprise usage type. You can use Digital Wallet to:

          • View active enterprise CI counts
          • Monitor peak usage
          • Track usage trends

For more information on how to access digital wallet from the Digital Wallet app or the Your Account app, see Access Digital Wallet.

          Note
Note Service Cloud's Billing and Metering service processes billing events from CMDB and sends them to Digital Wallet.
