            Create a Custom Service Graph Layout

            Create custom service graph layouts to control how configuration items and their relationships appear in the service graph. Custom layouts help you focus on the configuration item types and relationship types that matter most for a specific use case, such as infrastructure dependencies, application topology, or impact analysis.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service that have CMDB and Service Graph enabled.
            User Permissions Needed
            To create service graph layouts: IT Service Configuration Item Manager
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select CMDB and Service Graph.
            2. In the navigation panel, select Administration, and then select CMDB.
            3. Click Service Graph Layouts.
            4. Click New Layout.
            5. In the Name field, enter a name for the service graph layout.
            6. Expand Configuration Item Types, and then select the configuration item types to include in the layout.
            7. Expand Configuration Item Relationship Types, and then select the relationship types to include in the layout.
            8. If you want to include configuration items discovered from external sources, select Includes external configuration items.
            9. If you want to include configuration items discovered from external sources, select Includes external configuration items.

            The service graph layout is available in the service graph viewer. You can apply the layout when viewing a service graph from a configuration item record to visualize relationships based on the selected configuration item types and relationship types.
