            Permission Sets for Discovery

            The Discovery permission sets control access to key discovery features in Salesforce IT Service. The permission set groups determine who can view, manage, and execute discovery operations such as scans, targets, and credential management. Use these permission sets to assign the appropriate access for asset discovery and its related configuration data.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.
            Permission Set Group Purpose
            IT Service Configuration Item and Asset Discovery Manager Grants access to manage discovery configurations, execute scan jobs, and view discovered asset information.
