            Release Management Dashboard for IT Services

            Track release health, monitor associated records, and gain insights into risks, delays, and change approvals in one dashboard.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

            Release managers can use the Release Dashboard to track the health and status of releases, identify delays, and monitor associated incidents, problems, and changes. They can use this dashboard to assess risk, prioritize upcoming releases, and take corrective action.

            To access the dashboard, the Release Manager permission set must be assigned to the user profile. The dashboard can be filtered by release name.

            Release Managers create or customize the reports in the dashboard to meet specific business requirements. For customization guidance, see Dashboards.

            The dashboard answers these questions:

            Release Metrics

            • What’s the risk level of current and upcoming releases?
            • How many days remain before the planned release date?
            • What's the deviation between the planned and actual release date (in days)?

            Associated Records

            • What’s the total number of incidents associated with each release?
            • What’s the total number of problems associated with each release?
            • What’s the total number of change requests associated with each release?

            Change Insights

            • What’s the distribution of associated change requests by their status?
            • What’s the approval status of change requests linked to each release?

            Release Details

            • What are the details of change requests associated with each release, including type, priority, assigned user, and status?
