          Request Static IP Allocation

Deploy this template to provide employees with a standardized way to request a static IP address.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with Agentforce IT Service.

This template creates a service request record that captures essential user details for accurate and auditable fulfillment. Review what’s included with the template.

          Intake Attributes

The intake form for this template captures these details from the employee:

          • Network or VLAN: The network or VLAN designation for the allocation.
          • IP Address: The IP address to be allocated to the device.
          • Hostname: The hostname of the device.
          • MAC Address: The MAC address of the device.

          Automated Fulfillment

This service process includes a fulfillment flow that automatically processes the service request. You can extend this flow in Flow Builder to include custom logic, such as automated manager approvals or inventory checks.

          Note
Note The fulfillment flow routes the request for manager approval and, after approval, creates the fixed IP address in Infoblox.

          Integration

This template uses a preconfigured integration with Infoblox. The integration retrieves network and VLAN lists during intake and creates the fixed address during fulfillment. To use this integration, configure your Infoblox credentials. To learn more about this third-party connector, see Infoblox Connector.
