          Insert Telephone Links into Articles

          Add telephone links to Knowledge articles to let customers ‌call support directly from Knowledge articles to get quick help.

          Required Editions

          Available in Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience. View supported editions.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create articles:

          Manage Articles

          AND

          Read and Create in the user profile

          1. Create or edit an article from the Knowledge tab or Article Management tab.
          2. In the Lightning Article Editor, click where you want to add the telephone link.
          3. On the Link page, specify the telephone number in the tel:+{country_code}{telephone_number} format.
          4. Next, enter the display text, and set how to open your telephone link.
          5. Save your changes, then save the article.

          You can also manually enter the telephone link in this format: <a href="tel:+{country_code}{telephone_number}">+{country_code} {telephone_number}</a> For example, <a href="tel:+4733378901">+47 333 78 901</a>.
