To prevent outages for customers who haven’t yet upgraded to the latest version of your
mobile app, clone your Enhanced In-App Chat deployment before releasing a new feature. Roll out
the new feature on the cloned version of the deployment while allowing customers who haven’t yet
upgraded to keep using the older version.

where they’re referenced.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Embedded Service
Deployments, and then select Embedded Service
Deployments.
From the dropdown menu to the right of your deployment, select
Clone.
Give your cloned deployment a name and confirm that the correct Messaging Channel is
referenced.
Save your changes.
Publish your new, cloned deployment.
