Request a Brand for a 10-Digit Long Code (US and Canada)

Request a Brand for a 10-Digit Long Code (US and Canada)

Every SMS channel linked to a 10-digit US or Canadian long code requires a brand in Agentforce Service (formerly Service Cloud). You can request one brand for each purchased 10-digit long code (10DLC).

Checkmark This article applies to: Standard and Enhanced SMS channels
X icon This article doesn’t apply to: Enhanced In-App Chat, Enhanced Web Chat v1, Enhanced Web Chat v2, Enhanced WhatsApp, Standard and Enhanced Facebook Messenger, Enhanced Apple Messages for Business, Enhanced LINE, and Bring Your Own Channel

Brands for 10-digit long codes in Agentforce Service are supported only in the United States and Canada. If you have the Agentforce Contact Center Digital add-on, you need country-specific licenses to register brands.

          Note
Note You can request a brand from your production org only.

          Submit Your Registration Request

Your brand request can take up to five business days to process. The duration depends on how long it takes for the SMS ecosystem's third-party vetting partner to approve your request.

          Note
Note If enabled, the Agentforce Brand Registration Assistant can help validate and process the 10DLC brand registration information that is input. This tool uses generative AI, which is known to include inaccurate or harmful responses. Review the output for accuracy and safety. You assume responsibility for the output when making business decisions.
          1. Collect the information listed in the Brand Request section.
          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Regulatory Compliance, and select Regulatory Compliance.
          3. On the 10DLC Brands tab, click Register Brand.
          4. Enter the company's details, and then click Save & Continue.
          5. Enter the contact information and address details, and then click Submit.

You can view each request's progress on the Regulatory Compliance page. Here are the possible states for your 10DLC brand request:

          • Requested: Your request is submitted and is awaiting review.
          • Re_Requested: You've submitted the request again.
          • Pending: Your request is being reviewed.
          • Verified: Your request is approved.
          • Unverified: Your request isn’t approved.
          • Rejected: Your request isn’t approved. Try requesting the brand again.

You can save a draft of your request and return to it later. You can save up to 10 drafts of each type of request, including brands, campaigns, and codes.

On the 10DLC Brands tab, under the Denial Reason column, you can review the reasons for rejection. If the review process requires corrections, click Edit and Resubmit Request to edit and resubmit the request. If the request is rejected twice, Salesforce emails your support contact to address the issue.

          Improve Brand Messaging Throughput

When a brand achieves a higher vetting score, its messaging throughput increases, letting it send more messages each minute or day. If you have your brand vetting score, import it to improve the brand's messaging throughput.

For more information on messaging throughput and vetting score requirements for certain carriers, see slide numbers 27 and 28 of the Campaign Registry CSP User Guide.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Regulatory Compliance, and select Regulatory Compliance.
          2. On the 10DLC Brands tab, click Register Brand.
          3. Click the Down Arrow icon corresponding to your brand request, and then click Import Vetting Details.

The Import Vetting Details action is available for brand requests that are in Vetted status, and for requests where vetting status is Failed or Not Vetted. Aegis Mobile, Campaign Verify, and WMC Global are available as vetting partners.

          4. Enter import vetting details.
          5. Click Submit.
