Convert SMS Codes to Enhanced SMS Channels in Bulk or Individually
You can convert your approved SMS codes to SMS channels in bulk or individually without raising a support ticket with Salesforce.
Convert Approved SMS Codes to Channels in Bulk
- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Messaging Settings and select Messaging Settings.
- Under SMS Channel Requests, you see a list of SMS codes that you requested and their status.
- Click Convert to Messaging Channels.

Click Create Channels.
Only the SMS codes that have the status as Completed or Ready get converted to channels. When converted to channels, they appear under the All Channels tab.
Convert an Approved SMS Code to Channel
- From Setup, in the Quick Find, box enter Messaging Settings and select Messaging Settings.

Under the SMS Channel Requests tab, for the SMS code with
completed status, click
of the SMS code that you want to convert to a channel.

Click Convert to SMS Channel.
Only the SMS codes that have the status as Completed or Ready get converted to channels. When converted to channels, they appear under the All Channels tab.
