            Assign Data Capture Permissions to Mobile Workers

            Give mobile workers access to Data Capture flows in the Field Service mobile app.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To assign permissions: Customize Application
            Important
            Important Your mobile workers need the Lightning SDK for Field Service Mobile permission to access the mobile app. See Move to Lightning Data Service for Field Service Mobile.

            Mobile workers are assigned to a mobile worker permission set. To use Data Capture functionality, create an additional permission set to add specific Data Capture permissions.

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Permission Sets.
            2. Create a permission set without assigning a license.
            3. Allow mobile workers to prime subflows for offline work.
              1. From System, select System Permissions.
              2. Under System, select View Setup and Configuration.
              3. Save your changes.
            4. Allow mobile workers to run flows.
              1. From Apps, select App Permissions.
              2. Find and select the Run Flows permission.
              3. Save your changes.
            5. Allow mobile workers to use forms.
              1. From Apps, select Object Settings.
              2. Open the Forms object.
              3. Click Edit.
              4. From Object Permissions, select Read and Edit.
              5. From Field Permissions, select Read Access for Created By, Created Date, Last Modified By, Last Modified Date, Parent Record Type, and Process Type.
              6. From Field Permissions, select Read Access and Edit Access for Action Definition, Name, Parent Record, and Status.
              7. Save your changes.
            6. Click Manage Assignments and assign the permission set to your mobile workers.
