Salesforce uses Aggregated Session Tracking to record usage accurately. Instead of billing for every click, Salesforce groups all AI interactions, such as Knowledge Article Summaries and Dynamic Q&A, within a single authenticated login session into one record. This reduces noise in your billing data and provides a transparent audit trail.

          • Your Experience Cloud site is active.
          • Deploy Knowledge Article Summary and Dynamic Q&A components in Experience Builder.
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Usage Reports, and then select Self-Service AI Usage.
          2. View the daily logs to see the breakdown of feature usage per Session ID.
You can see which sessions triggered a billable event. A session only counts if the customer uses at least one tracked AI feature.
          3. Check the Usage Upsell Dashboard to compare your actual consumption against your contractual limits.
          4. Review the metadata for Customer ID, Session ID, and timestamps to verify usage for specific periods.
