Save Your Secrets in AWS Secrets Manager

Save Your Secrets in AWS Secrets Manager

For contact center version 19 and later, save your secrets in the AWS Secrets Manager.

          This article applies to:

          • Service Cloud Voice with Partner Telephony from Amazon Connect
          1. In the AWS Management console, search for Secrets Manager, and then click Secrets Manager.
          2. Locate your contact center's secret, and set the CONSUMER_KEY_PARAM_NAME, PRIVATE_KEY_PARAM_NAME, and SUBJECT keys within that secret.
          3. Copy the values for the CONSUMER_KEY_PARAM_NAME and PRIVATE_KEY_PARAM_NAME keys and paste them into a text file.
These values are the names of the keys within a single secret that hold the credentials.
          4. Update the keys identified in your text file with their credential values. For example, if your PRIVATE_KEY_PARAM_VALUE is test-contactcenter-salesforce-rest-api-auth-private-key, replace its value with the generated private key.
          5. To save the secret, follow the steps as mentioned here.
