After you set up your enablement site's subdomain, select an authentication provider,
which determines how all your users—learners, content creators, and release
managers—log in to your site. You can select either Salesforce Identity for Enablement,
which we recommend, or Trailblazer.me (TBID). The authentication provider that you select
determines the login and navigation experience for all of your users.

Salesforce Admins
Warning The option to select an authentication provider is available only when either
of these conditions is true:
You haven’t yet created an enablement site.
You’ve created an enablement site, but no user has taken a quiz.
If you’ve created your enablement site and a user has taken a quiz, the option to select
an authentication provider isn’t available.
Considerations for Selecting an Authentication Provider To help you determine which authentication provider is right for your company’s enablement site, review how each provider affects your learning and enablement strategy. We recommend that all new enablement sites choose Salesforce Identity for Enablement.
Configure Salesforce Identity for Enablement To set up Salesforce Identity for Enablement for your enablement site, first create a connected app in Salesforce. The connected app handles data sharing between your enablement site and Salesforce using OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0—protocols that authenticate users and authorize access to data in your org. Finally, enter your connected app details on your enablement site.
Troubleshoot Login Issues with Salesforce Identity for Enablement If you configure your enablement site to use Salesforce Identity for Enablement authentication, users can sometimes encounter issues when they try to log in. Help resolve any issues your users encounter when they visit your site’s login URL and enter the credentials.
Request to Switch Your Authentication Provider If you selected Trailblazer.me (TBID) for your enablement site’s authentication provider, you can submit a Salesforce Customer Support case to request to switch to Salesforce Identity for Enablement. If you already selected Salesforce Identity for Enablement for your enablement site’s authentication provider, you can’t request to switch it to TBID.
