Create Shortcuts to Salesforce Pages with Favorites

Quickly access important records, lists, groups, and other frequently used pages in Salesforce. A favorite is similar to a bookmark in a web browser, but your favorites list is always available regardless of the browser or computer that you use to log in to Lightning Experience.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Essentials, Contact Manager, Group, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
  1. To add the current page—for example, all open leads—to your favorites list, click the star in the Lightning Experience header.
A highlighted star means you’re on a favorite. To remove a favorite, click the highlighted star.
  2. To view your top favorites, click the dropdown next to the star. Each favorite shows the name and record type. After you start using favorites, your three-most frequently used favorites appear in the navigation bar dropdown menu for certain objects. My Favorites is helpful when you have numerous favorites and want to see only the pages that relate to a specific object. If you use a favorites page often, consider adding it to your navigation bar.
  3. To add items, reorder the list, or rename favorites, click Edit Favorites.
