You can change the corporate currency to another currency supported by your organization. Conversion rates are defined relative to the corporate currency. This way you can keep conversion rates accurate when your company headquarters moves locations, or a country adopts a new currency.
When you change a corporate currency, all defined currency conversion rates in your Salesforce org automatically recalculate and update to the new corporate currency. Only the currency exchange rates are affected. For example, the currencies and amounts saved on records, and those shown in the running user’s currency in parentheses, aren’t affected by the change.
