          Archive Incremental Export

          Archive Incremental Export

Rather than exporting the entire dataset from the Archive app every time, export only the data that was changed or added after the last export.

In Archive, the incremental export runs each day and exports as much as possible in a 23-hour period. The next day, a new incremental export begins, starting after the last recorded exported record of the previous day. The incremental export can take some time to catch up on all the data in Archive, depending on how much data has accumulated before the incremental export was initiated.

After the incremental export catches up, only newly archived data is exported. There can be days when the incremental export doesn't run.

When you export to your AWS S3 bucket or Azure Blob Container, you can select specific objects to export.

          Note
Note You can only export to storage that matches your account platform, such as S3 Bucket for AWS or Blob Storage for Azure.

The next daily export reviews all records in Archive, exporting only the records that match the selection criteria. This export is done in daily runs up to 23 hours, until all the data in Archive is covered and any new data is exported as it's detected.

For more information, see Export to AWS S3 Bucket.
