Manage Archive Widget Controls and Layout
Manage the display and configuration of objects within Archive app widgets, defining both root and child objects that end users can query. Also, the layout provides insights into root-child object relationships via the Is Root identifier.
Choose from two predefined layout options.
- To show a single child object, use Archive Single Objects.
- To show multiple child objects within the widget, use Archive Multiple Objects.
To customize your Archive Widget layout:
- Go to Archive Settings.
- Under Search, select Widget Search Layout.
-
Search or enter the required Object and add up to 15 available fields to the
Selected Fields column.
Important A child object appears in Archive component search only if a policy is configured for it.
- An asterisk (*) identifies fields that haven't been indexed. Fields that have been indexed are retrieved faster than non-indexed fields. We recommend removing non-indexed fields. If you still want to view non-indexed fields via the Archive Widget, contact Support.
-
The Show Is Root column shows end users whether the record is part of the root
or a child record. The default value for the Is Root setting is
Off.Note If Is Root was enabled during setup, the Is Root column under the Related tab shows that the record is a root record.
When double-clicking a record in search, the expanded view is opened and includes these settings.
