Archive Storage Analyzer
Get a comprehensive analysis of data and file storage within your Archive app production org. This visual tool provides an overview of the top objects consuming storage and their usage history.

Key Features
- View the total consumption for both data and file storage.
- In descending order, the dashboard shows the top 5 objects by record count, with the object consuming the most space at the top.
- Refine your archiving strategy by focusing on the objects that have the most significant impact on your storage space.
To access the Storage Analyzer dashboard:

At the top right of the home page, click Storage
Analyzer.
First-time users see an empty Storage Analyzer.
- To begin the analysis, click Analyze Now.

Select the object that you want to analyze.
The dashboard shows an analysis on a quarterly basis.

To follow the policy wizard, click Next.
The analysis chart shows the Last Modified Date.
Green bars show data that meets the policy criteria and is scheduled for archiving.
Blue bars, or purple for files, show data that doesn't meet the criteria and remains in your org.
- Enter a policy name.
- To turn on an active running policy, select Set Policy to Active.
- Enter a value for the number of years or quarters that you want to view.
- Select Date Category.
- To add second- and third-layer filters for specific objects, such as Case, EmailMessage, Lead, Opportunity, and Task, click +Add Condition.
- Select whether to include ContentDocuments.
- Click Accept.
- To change a parameter, click Advanced.
- Review the summary.
- To finalize the policy, save your work.
