          Exclude Files and Attachments from Backups

          Backing up files and attachments makes sure that backups are as true and accurate as possible for recovery. If backups aren’t necessary in your case, you can remove them for improved backup times.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Backup & Recover Data and Backup & Recover Files add-on licenses
          User Permissions Needed
          To exclude files and attachments from a backup: Manage Backup of Files and Attachments

          To exclude files and attachments from your backups:

          1. In Salesforce Backup & Recover Next, click the Settings tab.
          2. From the navigation bar on the left, click Files and Attachments.
          3. Turn off Include Files and Attachments.
