Restore without Previewing

Skip the preview and run a restore without reviewing the records included.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Professional, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Backup & Recover Data and Backup & Recover Files add-on licenses
User Permissions Needed
To run restore: Run Restore
To view restore results: View Restore
  1. From a compare report, select the object you want to restore.
  2. Select the records to restore.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Restore.
  5. Click the Objects Hierarcy tab and select the object level depth.
    To not insert any child object records, select

    No Hierarchy.

  6. Confirm that:
    1. You have the Modify All Data permission.
    2. Email Deliverability is disabled.
    3. Validation rules, triggers, and workflows are disabled.
  7. Click Restore.

The restore begins. When completed, the restore's results are available in the activity list.
