To customize your users’ visual experience, activate a theme that reflects your brand.
Activate a custom theme that celebrates your brand identity, or use a built-in theme with preset
color palettes and images. Either way, a theme elevates your Salesforce org and enhances the user
experience.

To view company information:
View Setup and Configuration
To activate, create, edit, or preview a theme:
Customize Application
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Themes and Branding, and
then select Themes and Branding.
Click next to the custom or built-in theme that you want to learn more about or
activate.
To see the theme details, such as colors, images, and accessibility settings, click
View.
To test how your org looks with the theme applied, click
Preview.
To apply the theme to your org and immediately make it visible to your users, click
Activate.
To activate a theme after you view or preview it, from the theme’s view page, click
Activate.
If your org currently uses a Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) 1 theme and you
activate an SLDS 2 theme, click Activate again to confirm that you
intend to activate SLDS 2 for your org. Similarly, if your org currently uses an SLDS 2 theme
and you activate an SLDS 1 theme, click Activate again to confirm that
you intend to disable SLDS 2 for your org.
Note When you activate an SLDS 2 theme, you enable SLDS 2 for your org. If you change
your active theme from an SLDS 2 theme to an SLDS 1 theme, you disable SLDS 2 for your org. See
Transition to SLDS 2.
When you activate a theme,
it’s immediately applied to your org and visible to your users.
Most built-in themes don’t support customizations, but in some editions, you can enable dark mode
(beta) for built-in or custom SLDS 2 themes.
