          Configure an External Client App to Show in the App Launcher

          To configure your external client app so that it shows up in App Launcher, mark it as visible in the App Menu page in Setup.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Professional, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
          To configure the start URL (if necessary) View all External Client Apps, view their settings, and edit their policies
          Note
          Note Even if the external client app is configured properly, it shows up only for the users who are authorized to see it.
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter External Client Apps Manager, and then select External Client Apps Manager.
          2. Select the external client app to add to the App Launcher.
          3. If the developer of the external client app didn’t configure a start URL, set one now. Only external client apps configured with a start URL can be made visible in App Launcher.
          4. If the external client app uses an OAuth plugin, configure the OAuth policy for the external client app.
            • To make the external client app visible to all users, set the OAuth policy to All users may self-authorize.
            • To control the visibility of the external client app, change the OAuth policy to Admin-approved users are pre-authorized and specify which profiles and permission sets are authorized to see the app.
          5. Save the external client app.
          6. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter App Menu, and then select App Menu.
          7. Locate the external client app in the list, and then select Visible in App Launcher.
