See and Act on Scan Results

You can view your results for any sensitive data that was detected. After you've reviewed the Data Detect scan policy results, use them to bolster your data security and privacy strategy, especially with specific fields that have excessively sensitive data.

Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions.

Requires the Salesforce Shield add-on subscription or the Data Detect add-on license.
  • View Data Detect Scan Results
    You can view your results for any detected sensitive data with Data Detect.
  • View Sensitive Data Excerpts
    Quickly identify the nature and exact location of sensitive data, spot false positives, and manage records. Multiple instances of sensitive data found within a single field get grouped and categorized. Users with a specific permission can trigger an asynchronous, results export, including sensitive excerpts, via a CSV file for auditing and compliance requests.
  • Act on Data Policy Scan Results
    After you've reviewed the Data Detect scan policy results, use them to bolster your data security and privacy strategy, especially with specific fields that have excessively sensitive data.
