            Test Your Self-Registration Process

            When you configure self-registration, or change your self-registration process or page, test the process to make sure it works.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To access Experience Workspaces:
            • Access Site Management OR Manage Sites OR Create and Set Up Sites
            • AND is a member of the site
            To create and edit Visualforce pages: Customize Application
            To edit Apex classes:
            • Author Apex
            • AND Customize Application
            1. If you don't have it handy, find your site URL.
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter All Sites, and then select All Sites.
              2. Next to your site name, click Workspaces.
              3. Click Administration.
                The Administration page opens on the Settings tab.
            2. Sign up a new user.
              1. Right-click on your site URL and open it in a private (incognito) browser.
                Your site's login page opens.
              2. On the login page, click the prompt to register a new user. Depending on your login page, this prompt looks different. For example, it can say Not a member? or Sign Up.
              3. Enter registration information for a test user. Use your own contact information so you can test the self-registration process.
              4. Follow the prompts to register the test user.
            3. Check whether self-registration succeeded.
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
                Your new user is listed.
